Cole Slaw

head cabbage
1
large white onion
3
large carrots
1-cup
raisins
Wash
the vegetables. Remove the cabbage core
and chop the cabbage to the desired thickness.
Peel and chop the onion. Leave
the peel on the carrots and grate them into small slivers. Combine all the cabbage, onion, carrots and
raisins in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
In
a separate bowl combine about 2 cups mayonnaise, ¼ cup white wine vinegar and 1
cup sugar. Mix well and add more
mayonnaise, vinegar or sugar to suit your taste. The sauce should be creamy and sweet.
Add
the sauce to the slaw and mix thoroughly.
