Southwest Flavored Pan Pasta
Ingredients:

pound lean ground beef
1
package seashell pasta (or macaroni)
1
16-ounce can of diced tomatoes
1
16-ounce can of tomato sauce
1
medium onion (chopped)
1
small bell pepper (chopped)
1
4-½ ounce can of chopped green chilies
Tabasco
(add to your taste, 1 teaspoon for mild, 2 tablespoons for hot0
Salt
Fresh
ground black pepper
Oregano
(about 1 teaspoon)
Crushed
red pepper

tablespoons chopped garlic

tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
In
a large frying pan heat the olive oil, adding the garlic, onions, and bell
pepper. Stir and cook until the onions
are fork tender. Add the pasta shells
and continue stirring (lower heat to medium), cook until the pasta begins to
brown. Crumble the ground beef into the
mixture and cook until brown. Once the
beef is cooked add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, green chilies, salt, pepper, red
pepper, oregano, and Tabasco; simmer 10 to 15 minutes and serve.
