Bran Muffins

cup Nabisco 100% Bran cereal
2
cups Kellogg’s All Bran Cereal
1-cup
raisins
1-cup
water
1
˝ cups sugar
˝
cup vegetable oil
2
medium eggs
2
cups buttermilk
2 ˝
cups flour
2-˝
teaspoons baking soda
˝
teaspoon salt
Boil
the water, stir in the Nabisco 100% Bran cereal and set aside to cool.
Blend
together the sugar and oil, add in the eggs one at a time blending well.
Sift
together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Alternately
add the buttermilk and the sifted four mixtures to the sugar, oil and egg
mixture stirring until well blended.
Add
the cooled 100% Bran, the All Bran, and the raisins to the mixture. Stir the dough until it is thoroughly
mixed. The dough will keep in the
refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
Spoon the dough into well-greased muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes.
