Spicy Cranberry Punch
¾ cup
brown sugar, firmly packed
1-cup
water
¼ teaspoon
salt
¼ teaspoon
ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon
ground allspice
½ teaspoon
ground cinnamon
¾ teaspoon
ground cloves
1 ½
quarts cranberry juice

46-oz. Can unsweetened pineapple juice.
Butter
(optional)
Cinnamon
sticks
Combine
brown sugar, water, salt, spices (except cinnamon sticks) and cranberry juice
in a 5-quart saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add the pineapple juice and bring back to a boil. Pour into a warmed punch bowl. Serve with a “dot” of butter and a cinnamon
stick.
Serves about 20 people.
